How to Use Favorites

Save providers you like and build your own personal shortlist

Last updated: February 2026

Quick Overview

Favorites let you save providers you're interested in so you can find them again quickly. Instead of searching every time, just tap the heart icon on any provider card or profile to add them to your personal list. View all your saved providers anytime from your Favorites page.

Adding Favorites

There are two places where you can add a provider to your favorites: from provider cards in search results, and from a provider's full profile page. Both work the same way -- just tap the heart icon.

From Provider Cards

When browsing search results or the homepage, every provider card has a small heart icon. Tap it to instantly add that provider to your favorites. The heart fills in and a brief animation confirms the action.

From a Provider's Profile

On a provider's full profile page, you'll find a Favorite button in the action area near the top of the page. On mobile, it also appears in the sticky action bar at the bottom of the screen. Tap it to save that provider.

You need to be logged in to use favorites. If you tap the heart icon while logged out, a prompt will appear asking you to log in or create an account. Once you do, you can pick up right where you left off.

Viewing Your Favorites

All your saved providers are collected on your Favorites page. You can get there in a couple of ways:

How to Access Your Favorites

1

On desktop, click your profile avatar in the top-right corner and select "Favorites" from the dropdown menu.

2

On mobile, tap the heart icon in the bottom navigation bar. It's always visible when you're logged in.

3

You can also go directly to the Favorites page at any time by visiting /favorites.

What You'll See

Your favorites page displays a grid of provider cards -- the same style you see in search results. Each card shows the provider's photo, name, location, and status badges (like verified, available now, or online). If you have a lot of favorites, results are paginated so you can browse through them page by page.

At the top of the page, you'll see a total count of how many providers you've saved.

Removing Favorites

Changed your mind? Removing a provider from your favorites is just as simple as adding one.

How to Remove

From Your Favorites Page

Tap the filled heart icon on any provider card in your favorites. The card smoothly fades out and is removed from your list.

From Anywhere Else

Tap the filled heart on a provider card in search results, or tap the Favorite button on their profile page. The heart unfills, confirming the removal.

On your Favorites page, removed cards animate out with a smooth transition so the grid rearranges naturally. You won't lose your place.

Tips

Favorite "Available Now" Providers

When you see a provider boosted as Available Now, favorite them so you can check back on their profile later even after their boost ends.

Use Favorites as a Shortlist

Browsing a new city? Favorite several providers first, then compare their profiles side by side before reaching out.

Keep Your List Fresh

Periodically review your favorites and remove providers you're no longer interested in. A focused list is more useful than an endless one.

Favorites Sync Across Devices

Since favorites are tied to your account, they're available anywhere you log in -- phone, tablet, or desktop.

Common Questions

Yes. Favorites are tied to your account so they're saved across devices and sessions. If you try to favorite a provider while logged out, you'll be prompted to log in or create a free account first.

Yes -- providers receive a notification when someone adds them to their favorites. They'll see your display name, but no other details about your activity.

There's no hard limit. You can save as many providers as you like. Your favorites page paginates results so it stays fast and easy to browse even with a long list.

Favorites are a client feature. Providers don't see the heart icon on other provider cards. If you're a provider looking to keep track of clients, the messaging system and your inbox serve that purpose.

If a provider deactivates their account or is removed from the platform, they'll no longer appear in your favorites. This is normal -- your list always reflects currently active providers.
